IPSC

IPSC is the acronym for the International Practical Shooting Confederation. IPSC is a dynamic shooting sport where the principles of Accuracy, Power and Speed are balanced in a unique scoring system.

Trap Shooting

The facility is a standard trap layout with an automatic thrower. We also have 2 other automatic machines and a hand thrower which we use to play shooting games or sporting clay type of fun.

Cowboy Action Shooting

Cowboy Action Shooting is a multi-faceted shooting sport in which participants compete using firearms typical of those used in the taming of the Old West: single action revolvers, pistol calibre lever action rifles, and old time shotguns. It is a timed sport in which shooters compete for prestige on a course of different "Old West" style shooting stages.

3 Gun

Lone Butte Fish and Wildlife hosts a renowned 3 Gun competition at our range on the August long weekend each year.

Outlaw Rimfire Precision Series (ORPS)

The Outlaw Rimfire Precision Series was started in 2019 to create opportunities for Canadians to get together and spend a fun day shooting and to compete against other Canadians each month, shooting the same course of fire. Each month a new course of fire is published to test the shooters' skills and ability to build stable shooting positions. It is a safe and fun way to get involved in the shooting sports.
